Study: Genome sequencing of wild rice Oryza granulata accessions
show Abstracthide Abstract
The O. granulata complex of wild rice consists of two relative species, Oryza granulata and Oryza meyeriana. They grow on the slope of mountains with no standing water. The one whose seed is larger than 6.4mm is classified as O. granulata, and the one whose seed is smaller than 6.4mm is classified as O. meyeriana, but the relationship is not clear since the variation is continuous. In order to obtain genome sequence information of them, we sequenced a total of four O. granulata accessions by Illumina HiSeq 2500.
